The 2019 Audi A4 is undergoing some tests in Germany, and it could come earlier than what the rumors suggest. However, there are plenty of speculations about this model, but as it appears, not much to talks about. Most of the things will remain the same, and there will be no modifications under the hood. Either way, let’s check out what we know so far.
2019 Audi A4 Interior
A few years ago, Audi overhauled the interior of the A4, which means that the new model will not feature almost anything different. It is possible that minor fixes will be avoided as well because the design of the cabin is derived from the technological developments that were taking place in the past. 2020 Toyota Tundra – Read about.
What this means is that the customers can expect usual features, which includes the 8.3-inch display that is positioned at the top of the dash. Moreover, new MMI system is going to be included, and it packs a bunch of features such as navigation, touch capability, LTE connectivity, WiFi and free-text search function.
There is a possibility that some of the features such as the Digital Cockpit and heads-up display will be moved to the list of standard features, instead of optional, but either way, that is not much of a change. Generally speaking, the 2019 Audi A4 will remain intact inside.
One thing is for sure – the 2019 Audi A4 is not going to be much different from the current model. The A4 which is being tested is covered by a light camouflage at the front of the car, but this doesn’t stop us from knowing what to expect.
The headlights will be carried over from the ongoing version, but the new graphics will be added later on. The front grille has a slightly different shape, and the only thing that is completely redesigned are the air intakes.
Meanwhile, at the rear end of the vehicle, the bumper gets modified as well as the exhaust tips. The rear lamps didn’t change at all on the test model, but it is highly likely that Audi will install the new set of lamps once the car goes into production.
Thanks to the nameplates, we managed to conclude that the model which is caught on camera was actually the long-wheelbase A4L which will hit the Chinese market exclusively.
The ongoing Audi A4 costs $36,000, but depending on which trim you select, the price can go all the way up to $50,000. Most likely, Audi will not change the pricing considering the fact that the model didn’t bring any innovations.
However, a small increase could be an option, which means that the Audi A4 could start at $38,000 for the base trip and go up to $54,000 for the top-shelf car. But this has yet to be confirmed, and we will know the prices closer to launch.
The ongoing model is struggling to meet the expectations when it comes to sales, which means that the 2019 Audi A4 will most likely come earlier than expected. The new car will hit the market either at the end of 2018 or in early 2019, according to rumors. We are waiting for the official information.
Once it goes on sale, the Audi A4 will compete against the BMW 3 Series as well as the Mercedes C-Class. Both of these cars are too strong, and Audi’s desire to launch the new A4 as soon as possible makes perfect sense. At the moment, both BMW and Mercedes are ahead of Audi, and the people should do something about it.
The biggest asset of the 2019 Audi A4 is that it will hit the Chinese market, but since it doesn’t come with a lot of improvements, the sales in other markets can remain unchanged.
